These terms and conditions apply to the following iOS applications developed by Barneysbro:

By downloading or using any of these applications, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Agreement to Terms:

By downloading, installing, or using our applications, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our applications.

Intellectual Property Rights

All applications, including their design, functionality, trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights, belong to Barneysbro (Barney Chen).

Usage Restrictions:

You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of our applications
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works
You may not use our trademarks or logos without permission
You may not attempt to extract source code or circumvent security measures

Application Usage & License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use our applications on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these terms, Apple’s applicable rules, and the law.

Permitted Uses

Viewing public transportation, garbage-collection, and traffic-camera information
Saving places, stops, cameras, and reusable Quick Copy replies on your device
Using supported widgets, reminders, sharing features, and the optional Quick Copy keyboard
Purchasing optional features where an app offers them through the Apple App Store

Prohibited Uses

Commercial redistribution or resale of app content
Systematic data extraction or scraping
Using the apps for illegal or harmful purposes
Interfering with app security or functionality

User Data & Privacy

Our applications use a local-first approach to saved data. Favorites, search history, settings, and Quick Copy groups and replies are generally stored on your device or in an app-group container shared with the relevant keyboard, share extension, or widget. They are not intentionally uploaded to servers controlled by us. Apple, Google, Firebase, AdMob, public-data providers, and other services may process information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Data Responsibility:

You are responsible for keeping your device and access to the applications secure. For detailed information about data collection and usage, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Services

Features may rely on third-party services and official data providers that have their own terms. Not every service is used by every app. RainCam uses Apple MapKit, may resolve Google Maps sharing URLs, and displays traffic-camera data and images from public authorities. Quick Copy uses Google AdMob in the main app; its keyboard does not make network requests. Relevant services include:

Google AdMob — For displaying advertisements
Google Analytics for Firebase — For app analytics and performance monitoring
Firebase Crashlytics — For crash reporting and app stability
Apple App Store — For app distribution, MapKit, and in-app purchases where offered
Google Maps — For resolving supported sharing URLs in RainCam
Official transport, civic-data, and traffic-camera providers identified in our Privacy Policy — For schedules, routes, locations, and live images

Network Usage & Charges

Online features require an active internet connection to retrieve advertising, maps, public transportation, garbage-collection, or traffic-camera information. Quick Copy’s saved replies, keyboard, and widgets generally work without a network connection.

Data Usage Notice:

You are responsible for any data charges from your mobile network provider
International roaming charges may apply when using apps outside your home country
We recommend using Wi-Fi when available to minimize data usage
Location permission is optional and used only by supported nearby and map features

In-App Purchases

Some applications offer optional paid features or ad removal. These purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. We do not process or store your payment-card information. Quick Copy and RainCam do not currently offer in-app purchases.

Purchase Terms

Payment: All transactions are processed securely by Apple
Refunds: Subject to Apple App Store refund policy
Family Sharing: Supports Apple Family Sharing where available
Restore Purchases: Available through app settings
Entitlement Status: The app may store your ad-removal entitlement status locally so purchased features remain available.

App Updates & Availability

We may update our applications from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. You may need to download updates to continue using the apps effectively.

Service Availability:

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or 100% uptime
Some features may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance
We may discontinue support for older iOS versions
Transportation data accuracy depends on third-party data sources

Limitation of Liability

Our applications are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for damages arising from the use of our applications, including but not limited to:

Missed transportation connections due to inaccurate data
Data loss from device changes or app reinstallation
Network connectivity issues
Third-party service interruptions
Delayed, unavailable, incomplete, or inaccurate traffic-camera images, locations, or map routes
Exposure of Quick Copy replies through device access, widgets, the keyboard, or the system clipboard

User Responsibility:

Always verify schedules, routes, road conditions, and camera information with official sources. Live images can be delayed or unavailable. Our apps provide convenience but should not be your sole source for safety decisions or time-critical travel planning. Do not store passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in Quick Copy.

Termination

We may discontinue an application or an online feature, or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security, legal, or third-party service issues.

You may also terminate your use of our applications at any time by deleting them from your device. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will immediately cease.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. We will notify users of changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of our applications after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
